i can't judge because i haven't see this in real life and compare it to the one i got, i don't know if there's any major difference. but this is the kind of bag i've seen a lot from Thailand, Indonesia, India, Nepal and Tibet, and i believe they're all handmade and in a price tag that won't hurt your holiday there.
so, which makes you wear this bag more? the fact that you got it from your Asia holiday? or the fact that it's a designer's bag?
