Gryson for Target

Target is partnering with renowned accessories designer Joy Gryson for its next limited-edition accessories collaboration. Gryson for Target will be the sixth collection in a series of limited-time only accessories introduced by Target. The line will be available at select Target stores nationwide and at Target.com April 6, 2008 through June 21, 2008.

The Gryson for Target collection includes a variety of chic handbags that encompass the designer’s signature mix of luxury and functionality. The versatile collection features rich hues, including slate blue and forest green, as well as black and white.Practical features include multiple straps, pockets and understated detailing like woven texture, braided top handles and hardware. Born in Korea, Joy Gryson came to the United States when she was three and has been a New Yorker ever since. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Gryson honed her skills working for industry powerhouses such as Coach, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs, designing and developing some of the most recognized handbags in the industry. In fall 2006, Gryson launched her own eponymous collection of handbags and footwear and has already garnered a cult following in the fashion industry among celebrities such as Jessica Biel and Michelle Williams.

Now what do we think about the new handbags designed by joy gryson?
after me among the rest of the world were awed and stunned by her design and they became an instant hit, now she makes more design.
I personally not loving the whole new designs than when she made her first debut.

Trigger Lock Group

comes in black and white italian leather with details like brass hardware in silver finish, detachable shoulder strap and top handles, matchign ID tag, extended tab with trigger lock closure, tapunto detailing (although i don't know what that meant :p), solid brass feet protecting the base of the bags, logo plate inside and suede lining, inside zip and slide pockets.

joy gryson handbags fall '06

joy gryson formerly known as director of design and development of handbags and accessories for Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs. She decided to leave the company to take care of her young daughter at 2004 and realized she doesn't have cash flows to afford the must-have bags, that's when she figured that other women might feel the same way too.
Now she's creating her own line of handbags with prices slightly affordable than the "it"bag, but it's still expensive because the material she used on her designs.
